Best value gem in Hokitika Excellent hosts, very impressive property that is surrounded by native bush and birdsong. Loved the well appointed beautiful big room with in-room tea and coffee facilities and fridge and a cosy fire downstairs to drink red wine by. Breakfast was excellent. Very good value and will definitely stay here again

The rooms were beautiful and large, and so were the surroundings. Being slightly away from the town centre it also had an air of exclusivity and charm. We loved our stay very much. The hosts were lovely as well!

Perfect hosts, delicious food, clean and comfortable. Wonderful stay. What a wonderful place to stay. Fraser and Anne were the perfect hosts, breakfast was superb, the lodge and grounds were clean and beautiful. Would thoroughly recommend!

Welcoming hosts, a peaceful and pretty setting, and very clean with all comforts thought of. Very reasonable cost considering breakfast is also included, highly recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay and such lovely hosts. We wish we had longer stay. Every spec seems to have been thought of and of high quality. Place was so tranquil and approach to the reception sets the mood as you get drive through an idyllic driveway. 10/10
